EMAIL

The erbium doped concentration of the LD pumped laser glass is 0.25~1.3×1020cm-³, which assures the laser rods or slabs able working under different optical path designs to get pulse output energy from 0.10mJ to 10mJ.Er3+, Yb3+ co-doped phosphate glass, with wider wavelength tuning, lower RIN and narrower laser linewidth, higher conversion efficiency and very wide pump band. It is used to make optical waveguide amplifiersand lasers. The ideal material can achieve 1535nm laser output. As a 1535nm eye-safe radiation source pumped by laser diodes, it can emit eye-safe 1535nm laser radiation, which can be directly used for laser ranging and telecommunication. Recently, it has been used in optical fiber communication to replace EDFA because of more advantages.Er-Yb Doped Waveguide Amplifier (EYDWA) is widely researched as a frontier technology.

LD pumped Er:Glass laser rangefinder transceiver modules usually are embedded into surveillance, monitoring and detection systems of aircrafts such as airdrones,UAV and helicopters etc...as well as laser-guided weapons because of compact sizes and smaller weight,and also golf and outdoor sports handheld laser rangefinders.
